Property Description for 50 Park Terrace East, 3D/E

Welcome home to this pristine and spacious sanctuary on one of the most desirable blocks in the heart of Inwood. With three bedrooms and two bathrooms, a larger foyer, formal dining, sunken living room, eat-in-kitchen, and nine closets throughout, apartment 3DE at The Embassy is sprawling with grand pre-war proportions and ample space.

Western, Northern, and Eastern exposures fill the apartment with light and offer picturesque views of the quiet, tree-lined block and city below, while city quiet windows in two of the bedrooms drown out all noise. The kitchen is fully renovated and features white lacquered cabinetry and dishwasher, brand-new stainless-steel appliances, glass backsplash, and quartz countertops. The floors and plaster throughout have also recently been refinished, as well as the tub reglazed.

Built in 1941, The Embassy is one of Inwood's most beautiful Beaux Arts buildings. It is pet friendly, allows for flexible buying scenarios including co-purchasing, parents buying for children, gifting, and pieds-a-terre (on a case-by-case basis), and is close to both the A and 1 trains, express buses, Metro North, and multiple north-bound expressways. There is storage and bike storage in the building, as well as a community room and newly renovated laundry room, and a live-in super.

Inwood offers all the convenance of the city, but with nature at your doorstep. The Embassy is located steps from Isham Park, Inwood Hill Park, the Hudson River, and Spuyten Duyvil Creek. Enjoy the farmers market on Saturdays, the shops on Broadway, and all the great restaurants the neighborhood has to offer.

Please note that there are currently two assessments-one for $125.10 ending 5/31/2021 and another for $417.00 ending 9/30/2023.

Inwood | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Inwood isn’t at all like those trendy acronymed neighborhoods further downtown and it doesn’t quite have a notable claim to fame but there is something especially charming about this predominantly Dominican neighborhood. It’s family-oriented with mom and pop shops, hookah bars, sports facilities, recreational venues and ethhnic eateries.

Inwood is the northernmost neighborhood of Manhattan. Any further north and you’ll be in the Bronx. It’s bounded by The Harlem River, which snakes around to its east and north side, The Hudson River and Inwood Hill Park to the west, and Fort George, an enclave of Washington Heights, to the south.

Rivers, hills and green spaces surround the neighborhood and the building height restrictions give it a suburban feel even though it's still part of the borough of Manhattan. Inwood, it’s the best of both worlds.
