GORGEOUS 1-BEDROOM AT THE MONDRIAN

NEW TO MARKET! Apartment 17C at the Mondrian - a modern classic condominium in the heart of Midtown East - is the flawless home you've been looking for, in pristine move-in condition and impeccably maintained.

The premiere one-bedroom line in the building, this spacious home was impeccably renovated in a timelessly chic aesthetic. A 30-foot long corner living room with soaring ceilings features a glass curtain wall wrapping cinematic city views north and east. Custom millwork, custom metal grid work, modernist baseboard and crown molding, and a handsomely paneled 260-bottle wine storage system are some of the highlights of this spectacular space in which to lounge and entertain in style.

The white polished kitchen features paneled solid wood and glass cabinetry, top of the line new stainless steel appliances, including a vented, professional-quality stove, white subway tile, and glossy white tempered glass counters. A stacked washer/dryer in its own laundry closet completes this professionally designed space, perfectly executed to prepare lavish meals. A discreet powder room off the entry hall and abundant closet space perfect the public space in this truly elegant home.

The luxurious, king sized bedroom suite offers an entire wall of custom, floor to ceiling extra deep closets, in addition to another double hung closet, remote controlled blackout shades and a marble tiled bathroom with new polished chrome fixtures and a Jacuzzi bathtub.

Throughout this beautiful home you will find such coveted features as multi-zoned, touch screen HVAC climate control, gleaming, dark walnut herringbone floors, high ceilings, solid-core wooden doors, customized and adjustable closets and a hard-wired Sonos and professional grade AV system. This beautiful home truly has it all.

The Mondrian is one of the most highly sought after Midtown condominiums, known for its white glove service, stunning lobby and residential halls, and an array of amenities such as an on-site Equinox and Juice Press plus a multitude of conveniences, including Soul Cycle and Brooklyn Diamond Coffee right outside your door. 24 hour doormen and concierges offer courteous service and security day and night. There are no more than four apartments per floor with 170 units spread over 43 stories, and pets are welcome.

Turtle Bay | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Turtle Bay is best known for hosting the world’s dignitaries at United Nations once a year as the world institution sits on the eastern edge of the neighborhood along the East River.

But this midtown location offers a lot more, a bustling neighborhood teeming with high-rise apartment buildings and an easy walk to the Midtown business district.

Over the past two decades, developers have assembled almost every corner development site along Second Avenue and have built straight up. Not much left to assemble.

Some of the more glamorous, and of course most expensive, addresses are in close proximity to the United Nations. Trump World Tower, which caused a big stir with area residents, in particular, Walter Cronkite, when it was built sits just north of the United Nations Grounds.

In contrast to the proliferation of the residential highrise, Turtle Bay does have some lovely tree-lined streets between the avenues. In particular, Turtle Bay Gardens, which fronts both 48th Street and 49th Street between Third and Second Avenue has always been a haven for the rich and famous.
