Property Description for 319 East 50th Street, 7-ED

Completely re-imagined and impeccably renovated, you will be enthralled from the moment you enter Apartment 7ED! A combination of two units, this spacious 1200 square foot two bedroom, two bathroom apartment has been completely gut renovated from top to bottom. No expense was spared and no detail overlooked! When you enter the foyer you will be immediately struck with how the apartment flows. You can proceed directly ahead, into the expansive living and dining area, and be met with bright sun from its eastern and northern exposures; or you can enter the primary bedroom, sun-soaked from southern exposure. Both options allow you to then make a continuous circle of the apartment, either through the brand new laundry room or the second bedroom, and finally wind up back where you started without having to backtrack! The windowed kitchen has been completely re-designed and renovated and features a new island, new cabinets with a new wood soffit and crown moldings above, new stainless steel sink with a gooseneck tower faucet, and a new pantry. Top of the line appliances include a Bertazzoni range with a new range hood, new True undercounter 24" refrigerator/freezer drawers, a new True undercounter dual-zone 24" wine cabinet, and a Miele dishwasher. The massive primary bedroom features two large walk-in closets, one with new custom shelving and the other transformed into a show-stopping 7-level shoe closet! The primary bathroom has been completely renovated, featuring a new walk-in shower and new shelving in the walk-in linen closet. The second bedroom, with a newly-installed foldable desk, affords the flexibility of using this space as a home office or guest bedroom. The guest bathroom has a new sink, a re-glazed tub, and a freshly painted radiator. The completely renovated laundry room features a new Miele washer & dryer and new custom cabinetry and floor tiling. All new flooring and sound-proof subflooring has been installed throughout the apartment, all walls and ceilings are freshly painted and feature new crown molding, and new radiator grills and new A/C units have been installed in every room. A smart home featuring a Lutron Maestro lighting control system and Lutron Triathlon electric shades completes this showcase must-see $300K+ renovation! The Beekman Hill is an impeccably maintained full-service co-op with an elevator attendant, live-in super, central laundry, bike room and additional storage. The building allows subletting, co-purchasing, parents buying for children, guarantors, Pied-a-Terres and pets. Conveniently located just two blocks from the E, M, 4, and 6 trains, it is within close proximity to such iconic landmarks as Grand Central, the United Nations, Rockefeller Center, the Museum of Modern Art, the Chrysler Building, and Central Park.

Turtle Bay | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Turtle Bay is best known for hosting the world’s dignitaries at United Nations once a year as the world institution sits on the eastern edge of the neighborhood along the East River.

But this midtown location offers a lot more, a bustling neighborhood teeming with high-rise apartment buildings and an easy walk to the Midtown business district.

Over the past two decades, developers have assembled almost every corner development site along Second Avenue and have built straight up. Not much left to assemble.

Some of the more glamorous, and of course most expensive, addresses are in close proximity to the United Nations. Trump World Tower, which caused a big stir with area residents, in particular, Walter Cronkite, when it was built sits just north of the United Nations Grounds.

In contrast to the proliferation of the residential highrise, Turtle Bay does have some lovely tree-lined streets between the avenues. In particular, Turtle Bay Gardens, which fronts both 48th Street and 49th Street between Third and Second Avenue has always been a haven for the rich and famous.
