Property Description for 319 East 50th Street, 2-L

This spacious, ultra modern loft studio is move in ready!

Just bring your toothbrush. This trendy abode has all the beautiful finishes of a new development condo, but with all the prewar charm. Residence 2L boasts an arched foyer in the entryway, which includes a deep closet. There are new Mirage wood floors throughout, new trim and moldings, beamed ceilings, and California closets.

The exquisite eat-in kitchen features state of the art dual KitchenAid undercounter refrigeration units, Bosch dishwasher, Bertazzoni Master Series gas range, oven, and hood. The custom cabinetry provides excellent storage options, including dovetailed roll-out trays, and undercounter pull wastebaskets. Custom panels also elegantly hide these storage options with brushed nickel hardware. The generous kitchen island is wrapped in Silestone quartz countertops and backsplash, with Kraus faucet and a large sink. It's perfect for anyone who loves to cook or entertain.

True functionality exists and is thoughtfully considered with every design element. This particular "L" line on the 2nd floor is comparatively larger than the other "L" lines in the building (just 2nd and 3rd floor have this extra space!), so you have one extra window which affords a much large kitchen than other studios in the building. 319 East 50th Street is a well maintained pre-war coop building located on a beautiful tree lined street, located in the heart of midtown Manhattan.

This pet friendly building includes a full-time doorman, elevator attendant, a resident manager, private storage, bike room and laundry room. You are close to all the great midtown restaurants and a simple cab ride away from the new Broadway openings. You also have easy access for reverse to Grand Central, Rockefeller Center, Whole Foods, Farmers markets, and all the amazing shopping that midtown has to offer.

Turtle Bay | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Turtle Bay is best known for hosting the world’s dignitaries at United Nations once a year as the world institution sits on the eastern edge of the neighborhood along the East River.

But this midtown location offers a lot more, a bustling neighborhood teeming with high-rise apartment buildings and an easy walk to the Midtown business district.

Over the past two decades, developers have assembled almost every corner development site along Second Avenue and have built straight up. Not much left to assemble.

Some of the more glamorous, and of course most expensive, addresses are in close proximity to the United Nations. Trump World Tower, which caused a big stir with area residents, in particular, Walter Cronkite, when it was built sits just north of the United Nations Grounds.

In contrast to the proliferation of the residential highrise, Turtle Bay does have some lovely tree-lined streets between the avenues. In particular, Turtle Bay Gardens, which fronts both 48th Street and 49th Street between Third and Second Avenue has always been a haven for the rich and famous.
