Property Description for 25 Indian Road, 4-H

Create your own dream home with this large one bedroom apartment in Inwood. Right across the street from the Hudson River and Inwood Park for outdoor adventures, the apartment can be configured into a two or even three bedroom, depending on your taste and desires.

The apartment is currently configured as a one bedroom, with a massive living room, great for entertaining, and a spacious eat-in kitchen with lots of storage space. The bedroom, nestled away from the living room, has great morning light, and multiple exposures. An updated bathroom, hardwood floors, and 4 closets allow you to settle in right at home. With a little creativity and work, the kitchen can be opened and updated, carving out the dine-in area into an office space or bedroom, while the massive living room can be divided into two distinct rooms, a bedroom and separate living area. The home is ripe with potential. The building allows up to 90% financing but 80% is preferred. Co-purchasing and subletting is allowed.

The building is close to both the 1 train and the A train, has a live-in super, parking (wait list), bike storage, laundry, and pets are welcome.
Inwood is a beautiful neighborhood with plenty of parks, cafes, and easy access to downtown Manhattan, the Bronx, and New Jersey.

Owner financing also available. Please inquire for more details.

ASSESSMENT: There is an assessment of $188.34 per month on top of current maintenance for Local Law 11 facade work that will expire March 2024.

Inwood | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Inwood isn’t at all like those trendy acronymed neighborhoods further downtown and it doesn’t quite have a notable claim to fame but there is something especially charming about this predominantly Dominican neighborhood. It’s family-oriented with mom and pop shops, hookah bars, sports facilities, recreational venues and ethhnic eateries.

Inwood is the northernmost neighborhood of Manhattan. Any further north and you’ll be in the Bronx. It’s bounded by The Harlem River, which snakes around to its east and north side, The Hudson River and Inwood Hill Park to the west, and Fort George, an enclave of Washington Heights, to the south.

Rivers, hills and green spaces surround the neighborhood and the building height restrictions give it a suburban feel even though it's still part of the borough of Manhattan. Inwood, it’s the best of both worlds.
