Property Description for 310 East 44th Street, 1407

Please Note:
APARTMENT CAN BE FLEXED INTO A 2BDRM!

This renovated one bedroom flexible to 2BDRM is an instant classic NYC apartment. The living space is great for entertaining guests, with oversized windows with lots of view of Tudor City and as far South as the eye can see. The kitchen has an abundance of counter space, custom-finished cabinets, and beautiful S.S. appliances. The bedroom can comfortably fit a queen sized bed, dresser, desk and more. The bathroom also has been recently renovated, with brand new fixtures and vanity, while having a beautiful marble tiling throughout.

The Beaux Arts is a landmarked, renovated hotel built in 1929, consisting of mirror-image buildings. The two buildings house an assortment of rare features such as duplexes with floor-to-ceiling windows, working fireplaces, terraces, and original art deco accents. The buildings are conveniently located blocks away from Grand Central Station and the United Nations.

Turtle Bay, located east of Midtown, is a classic eastern Manhattan neighborhood. The area attracts a younger crowd, as families and young professionals flock to the wide range of residential options available, from the classic older brownstones to glassy new high-rises. Turtle Bay overlooks the East River, almost guaranteeing residents living on the upper floors gorgeous waterfront views. The neighborhood's access to a multitude of eateries and subway lines make it an attraction in its own right. New Yorkers who want to be close to the heart of the city while still enjoying peace and quiet when they return home will be hard-pressed to find a better area than Turtle Bay.

Turtle Bay | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Turtle Bay is best known for hosting the world’s dignitaries at United Nations once a year as the world institution sits on the eastern edge of the neighborhood along the East River.

But this midtown location offers a lot more, a bustling neighborhood teeming with high-rise apartment buildings and an easy walk to the Midtown business district.

Over the past two decades, developers have assembled almost every corner development site along Second Avenue and have built straight up. Not much left to assemble.

Some of the more glamorous, and of course most expensive, addresses are in close proximity to the United Nations. Trump World Tower, which caused a big stir with area residents, in particular, Walter Cronkite, when it was built sits just north of the United Nations Grounds.

In contrast to the proliferation of the residential highrise, Turtle Bay does have some lovely tree-lined streets between the avenues. In particular, Turtle Bay Gardens, which fronts both 48th Street and 49th Street between Third and Second Avenue has always been a haven for the rich and famous.
