Like every room in this split-bedroom, stretch-out home, the jumbo floor-to-ceiling windows artfully feature this home’s signature views — epic city vistas loom large.

The primary bedroom is a king-sized retreat with a wall of closets and an en-suite marble bath. On the other side of this well-planned residence is the guest bedroom. Quite separate from the primary suite, the guest bedroom offers good closet space, and is served by its own marble bath. Ample closets and storage, a washer/dryer, and handsome finishes round out this residence and make it easy to live and so easy to love.

The Mondrian Condominium enjoys a resident superintendent and all of the benefits of a full service staff. With lobby access to the in-building Equinox Health Club and pool (separate membership required), and with hotel-style concierge and maid services, a 5th floor sun deck offering lounge chairs and grill, and package, storage, laundry and bike rooms, life here is easy and fun. Proximity to a plethora of garages and easy transportation options abounds: Major bus lines are close — as are the 6, E, M, N, Q, R, and W trains. Close to every area world-class shopping, dining, cultural, entertainment, and fitness destination, this choice home stands out in all the best ways.

Turtle Bay | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Turtle Bay is best known for hosting the world’s dignitaries at United Nations once a year as the world institution sits on the eastern edge of the neighborhood along the East River.

But this midtown location offers a lot more, a bustling neighborhood teeming with high-rise apartment buildings and an easy walk to the Midtown business district.

Over the past two decades, developers have assembled almost every corner development site along Second Avenue and have built straight up. Not much left to assemble.

Some of the more glamorous, and of course most expensive, addresses are in close proximity to the United Nations. Trump World Tower, which caused a big stir with area residents, in particular, Walter Cronkite, when it was built sits just north of the United Nations Grounds.

In contrast to the proliferation of the residential highrise, Turtle Bay does have some lovely tree-lined streets between the avenues. In particular, Turtle Bay Gardens, which fronts both 48th Street and 49th Street between Third and Second Avenue has always been a haven for the rich and famous.
