Apartment 20E features 1,321 interior square feet, 2 private balconies totaling 144 square feet of outdoor space, 9-foot ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, a split-bedroom layout, central heat, A/C, and gorgeous oak hardwood flooring throughout. The powder room was adapted into a pantry with laundry facilities and can be converted back to a half bathroom.

The E-line at 100 United Nations Plaza on the 20th floor spans the entire west side of the building and is coveted for both its northwest and southwest corners and north/south panoramas. The space boasts floor-to-ceiling windows, sliding doors that open to the south-facing balcony and accommodates multiple seating areas plus dining for 6 or more. The renovated windowed kitchen has a western exposure, granite countertops and backsplash, custom wood cabinets, recessed lighting and stainless-steel appliances from Sub Zero, Bosch, Miele and GE.

The large, quiet primary bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and an outfitted walk-in closet. The bathroom was renovated with Calacatta Gold marble featuring a large glass-enclosed shower, flooring and vanity; Dornbracht and Hansgrohe fixtures; and custom-built cabinets. The spacious second bedroom has a renovated ensuite marble bathroom with tub and two large closets.

Turtle Bay | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Turtle Bay is best known for hosting the world’s dignitaries at United Nations once a year as the world institution sits on the eastern edge of the neighborhood along the East River.

But this midtown location offers a lot more, a bustling neighborhood teeming with high-rise apartment buildings and an easy walk to the Midtown business district.

Over the past two decades, developers have assembled almost every corner development site along Second Avenue and have built straight up. Not much left to assemble.

Some of the more glamorous, and of course most expensive, addresses are in close proximity to the United Nations. Trump World Tower, which caused a big stir with area residents, in particular, Walter Cronkite, when it was built sits just north of the United Nations Grounds.

In contrast to the proliferation of the residential highrise, Turtle Bay does have some lovely tree-lined streets between the avenues. In particular, Turtle Bay Gardens, which fronts both 48th Street and 49th Street between Third and Second Avenue has always been a haven for the rich and famous.
