This is an ultra-modern minimalist home with exquisite finishes, great space and iconic views, abundant light, and 2 large private balconies. This is a prized property located in the world renowned, Dag Hammarskjold Tower, one of the prestigious residential buildings in Midtown-East Manhattan.

This masterfully designed home was gut renovated with no expense spared and employed the absolute best finishes and fixtures available. Enter the apartment through a foyer paneled in Choco Teak Wood which leads to an expansive 35' corner great room, perfectly scaled for entertaining. This room further enlarges by means of a custom folding wall, which when open, annexes the space of the third bedroom to the living space.

The chamber wing of this home houses an oversized Master Suite with a private balcony offering south and west exposures and skyline views. Motorized shades, large custom outfitted closets and a dramatic en-suite windowed spa style bathroom with the latest in design elements and an over-sized steam room with rain shower complete this master suite. The two additional bedrooms and staff room are also en-suite and there is also a guest powder room just off the entry foyer.

Other exquisite features of this home include an alcohol fueled fireplace, a wine bar with refrigerated wine storage, custom lighting, unique cabinetry, and quarter-sawn solid Brazilian Cherry wood floors throughout. There is custom trim milled in Teak, lacquer paneled walls revealing abundant storage, built-in Audio/Video systems and motorized window shades throughout. A full-size washer/dryer complete the picture.

Dag Hammarskjold Tower Condominium is a full service, pet friendly building with an indoor rooftop pool, fitness center including steam and sauna, children's playroom, catering/event room, garage, private storage, and a bike room. Situated just a few blocks from the United Nations and across the street from Dag Hammarskjold Plaza Park with its famous year-round Farmer's market; this perfectly scaled and positioned property is the epitome of Manhattan luxury living.

Turtle Bay | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Turtle Bay is best known for hosting the world’s dignitaries at United Nations once a year as the world institution sits on the eastern edge of the neighborhood along the East River.

But this midtown location offers a lot more, a bustling neighborhood teeming with high-rise apartment buildings and an easy walk to the Midtown business district.

Over the past two decades, developers have assembled almost every corner development site along Second Avenue and have built straight up. Not much left to assemble.

Some of the more glamorous, and of course most expensive, addresses are in close proximity to the United Nations. Trump World Tower, which caused a big stir with area residents, in particular, Walter Cronkite, when it was built sits just north of the United Nations Grounds.

In contrast to the proliferation of the residential highrise, Turtle Bay does have some lovely tree-lined streets between the avenues. In particular, Turtle Bay Gardens, which fronts both 48th Street and 49th Street between Third and Second Avenue has always been a haven for the rich and famous.
