Fully-renovated, high floor corner one bedroom condo with dual exposures to the south and west. This oversized one bedroom home is flooded with sunlight and features open views of the East River and the UN building and park.

Upon entry, one is greeted by a foyer with two large closets, one a walk-in with custom built-ins and wine storage and the other a long linear coat closet. The great room has ample space for a large dining area in addition to a full living area.

The renovated, windowed kitchen has a large south-facing window with open views and features top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher, custom cabinetry, granite countertops and tile backsplash.

The king-size corner bedroom boasts both south and west exposures and provides breathtaking river and UN views. There are two double-hanging custom closets that offer an abundance of storage and custom sconces that provide additional lighting.

The windowed, spa-like marble bathroom is conveniently located just outside of the bedroom. The renovated bathroom features Waterworks tiles and fixtures and a deep soaking Zuma tub.

Turtle Bay | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Turtle Bay is best known for hosting the world’s dignitaries at United Nations once a year as the world institution sits on the eastern edge of the neighborhood along the East River.

But this midtown location offers a lot more, a bustling neighborhood teeming with high-rise apartment buildings and an easy walk to the Midtown business district.

Over the past two decades, developers have assembled almost every corner development site along Second Avenue and have built straight up. Not much left to assemble.

Some of the more glamorous, and of course most expensive, addresses are in close proximity to the United Nations. Trump World Tower, which caused a big stir with area residents, in particular, Walter Cronkite, when it was built sits just north of the United Nations Grounds.

In contrast to the proliferation of the residential highrise, Turtle Bay does have some lovely tree-lined streets between the avenues. In particular, Turtle Bay Gardens, which fronts both 48th Street and 49th Street between Third and Second Avenue has always been a haven for the rich and famous.
