Property Description for 345 East 50th Street, 4-F

With direct elevator access, one is greeted by an abundance of light thanks to this floor-through home's many windows and open concept.

The great room and adjacent eat-in kitchen make up the well laid out main area of the home with both visual and functional appeal. The open kitchen has plentiful storage, stainless steel appliances, wine fridge, and a wall mounted espresso & cappuccino machine. The large living/dining area enjoys 9-foot 8-inch ceilings and bright southern light, as well as access to one of two private outdoor spaces with treetop brownstone and garden views.

The bedrooms are situated in their own wing of the home. The primary suite has ample room for a king size bed and home office and is complete with a large custom closet and access to the 2nd private outdoor balcony that serves as a quiet oasis for one with a green thumb, or to simply enjoy a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. The renovated and windowed en-suite bathroom provides a sleek and tranquil way to start or end each day.

The second bedroom is right around the corner, and is home to one of this apartment's most unique features - an indoor sunroom. Perfect for gardening, a home studio, or just a quiet and peaceful place to spend an afternoon.

Other features include walnut stained hardwood floors, recessed lighting, in-unit washer/dryer, high ceilings throughout, as well as a large private storage room located just outside the service entry to the apartment.

M at Beekman is the 2007 transformation of three brownstones into the luxury condominium building it is today. Amenities include: 24-hour door staff/concierge, private fitness center with separate yoga room, and bike room. The building is situated close to the East River Esplanade, midtown, United Nations, Grand Central, fine dining, as well as the E, M and 6 train lines.

Turtle Bay | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Turtle Bay is best known for hosting the world’s dignitaries at United Nations once a year as the world institution sits on the eastern edge of the neighborhood along the East River.

But this midtown location offers a lot more, a bustling neighborhood teeming with high-rise apartment buildings and an easy walk to the Midtown business district.

Over the past two decades, developers have assembled almost every corner development site along Second Avenue and have built straight up. Not much left to assemble.

Some of the more glamorous, and of course most expensive, addresses are in close proximity to the United Nations. Trump World Tower, which caused a big stir with area residents, in particular, Walter Cronkite, when it was built sits just north of the United Nations Grounds.

In contrast to the proliferation of the residential highrise, Turtle Bay does have some lovely tree-lined streets between the avenues. In particular, Turtle Bay Gardens, which fronts both 48th Street and 49th Street between Third and Second Avenue has always been a haven for the rich and famous.
