Property Description for 252 East 57th Street, 60-A

A jaw dropping 60th floor, 4 bedroom residence that epitomizes luxury living. This extraordinary home is a masterpiece of design by the eminent David Scott Interiors, where every detail has been meticulously curated and has been featured in numerous design magazines.

The glamorous entry foyer was created with Gilded aluminum wall panels and a custom designed marble floor to replicate a carpet design.

The dramatic living room with 11 foot ceiling, gas fireplace, floor to ceiling windows, an adjacent terrace and breathtaking views of Central Park, the reservoir, George Washington Bridge and East River.

The library and family room was expanded by adjusting the floor plan by moving walls to create another spacious public room and add an additional wine fridge and bar adjacent to the family room.

The master bedroom floor plan was also adjusted to create an extra spacious master bedroom suite with two enormous dressing rooms and extra room for relaxation.

The extremely spacious eat in kitchen has white HanStone glass countertops and backsplash, walnut cabinetry, and all Miele appliances including large wine fridge.

All additional bedrooms have en-suite baths and breathtaking views.

Other features include custom mood lighting, automated shades, drapes and lighting, an automated audio system throughout the entire apartment fully remotely controlled and adjustable, water and cooling filtration system, a washer and dryer, and a storage unit that transfers with the apartment.

Amenities include a 75-foot swimming pool, spa with steam and sauna, fitness center with Pilates, spinning, and yoga, screening room, Billiards room, Children's playroom, dog play space with grooming station, bicycle room, dining room, breakfast room, and catering kitchen.

There is also an attended gated porte cochere on 56th street for private access to the building and added convenience.

Turtle Bay | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Turtle Bay is best known for hosting the world’s dignitaries at United Nations once a year as the world institution sits on the eastern edge of the neighborhood along the East River.

But this midtown location offers a lot more, a bustling neighborhood teeming with high-rise apartment buildings and an easy walk to the Midtown business district.

Over the past two decades, developers have assembled almost every corner development site along Second Avenue and have built straight up. Not much left to assemble.

Some of the more glamorous, and of course most expensive, addresses are in close proximity to the United Nations. Trump World Tower, which caused a big stir with area residents, in particular, Walter Cronkite, when it was built sits just north of the United Nations Grounds.

In contrast to the proliferation of the residential highrise, Turtle Bay does have some lovely tree-lined streets between the avenues. In particular, Turtle Bay Gardens, which fronts both 48th Street and 49th Street between Third and Second Avenue has always been a haven for the rich and famous.
