Property Description for 244 East 53rd Street, 1

Up for rent is a beautiful 4 Bed/3 Bath with a private outdoor terrace!

Welcome to your floor-thru apartment that contains all you need for convenient living. This building was gut renovated in 2019 and no expense was spared. The unique design is modern and chic with quality finishes, fixtures, and hardwood floors. The unit also has virtual doorman and is only up two flights of stairs. There have only been two tenants since the renovation and the place has been extremely well taken care of.

Three bedrooms can each accommodate queen size beds, dresser, as well as a desk. One can fit a full size bed and a dresser and features the only en suite bathroom.

The living room is incredibly spacious. It's large enough for a full size couch, coffee table, and an entertainment console. There is also a dining area next to the kitchen.

The kitchen features stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher, stone countertops, and white oak cabinets with dark bronze pulls. If you feel like you're in need of more counter space, there is plenty of room to add an island!

Each bathroom is finished in its own modern style, featuring Toto fixtures, quality cabinets and tiles, and sleek finishes. They all feature standing showers.

The private terrace is a delightful spot for a group hang, enjoying a morning cup of coffee, or as a place to work out or zen out in your yoga practice. The space gets tons of light, but is also shaded by a big, gorgeous tree. You get the best of both worlds!

Worth mentioning is the in-unit laundry, central AC, as well as the recessed lighting, and the great natural light throughout the apartment!

The apartment is located near all the best dining and nightlife that Midtown East has to offer, as well as Trader Joe's and Whole Foods, which are just a few blocks away. You're also close to Bloomingdale's and other popular 59th St area shopping. Being one block from the E and M trains and a couple blocks from the 6 train, makes commuting a breeze. It is also central to many major office buildings in Midtown, as well as the UN, making for a pleasant walk or a quick cab to work.

It is the high season for large apartment hunting, so don't miss out on the opportunity to make this modern and spacious Manhattan abode yours. Email, text, or call for an exclusive showing. This apartment is occupied and showings are by appointment only.

Applicants must make 40x the rent and have credit over 700.

Turtle Bay | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Turtle Bay is best known for hosting the world’s dignitaries at United Nations once a year as the world institution sits on the eastern edge of the neighborhood along the East River.

But this midtown location offers a lot more, a bustling neighborhood teeming with high-rise apartment buildings and an easy walk to the Midtown business district.

Over the past two decades, developers have assembled almost every corner development site along Second Avenue and have built straight up. Not much left to assemble.

Some of the more glamorous, and of course most expensive, addresses are in close proximity to the United Nations. Trump World Tower, which caused a big stir with area residents, in particular, Walter Cronkite, when it was built sits just north of the United Nations Grounds.

In contrast to the proliferation of the residential highrise, Turtle Bay does have some lovely tree-lined streets between the avenues. In particular, Turtle Bay Gardens, which fronts both 48th Street and 49th Street between Third and Second Avenue has always been a haven for the rich and famous.
