Property Description for 310 East 46th Street, 6-K

RARELY AVAILABLE LOFTED 2-BEDROOM WITH SOARING CEILINGS & DESIGNER FURNISHINGS IN FULL-SERVICE TURTLE BAY BUILDING

Welcome to Residence 6K at Turtle Bay Towers - a stunningly renovated, fully furnished 1-bedroom with a loft, offering dramatic scale, curated design, and full-service amenities just moments from Grand Central.

This one-of-a-kind home features 14-foot ceilings, oversized factory-style windows, and a layout that feels more like a gallery than a traditional apartment. A custom floating staircase crafted from steel and tempered glass leads to a versatile lofted second bedroom or studio space, perfect for guests, a home office, or creative work.

The open-concept kitchen is outfitted with full-sized stainless steel appliances and ample cabinetry, making it ideal for cooking and entertaining.

The king-size primary bedroom is tranquil and private. Floor-to-ceiling custom closets are located in the hallway that leads to a spa-like bathroom, which is also accessed via the hallway - not directly from the bedroom, providing additional privacy.

Vintage and designer furnishings elevate the space, with standout pieces including:

A 1929 salvaged clock face from a historic NYC building.

Vintage 1920s Klieg lights from an old movie theater

An oversized mirror made from antique surveyor sticks

Custom Raydoor sliding doors with translucent acrylic panels

Additional highlights include two designer ceiling fans, dual AC/heating units, and thoughtfully selected furnishings from CB2, Zara Home, and Samsung - all included if you wish to rent furnished.

Turtle Bay Towers is a full-service condop offering:

24-hour doorman and concierge

Laundry on every floor

Beautifully landscaped roof deck with panoramic city and river views

Live-in superintendent

Bike and storage rooms

On-site parking garage

Located in the serene and diplomatic enclave of Turtle Bay, the building is surrounded by lush green spaces, top-rated dining, and local favorites like the Dag Hammarskjöld Plaza farmers market. Just minutes from Grand Central, commuting anywhere in the city is effortless.

Please Note:

Available for October 1st. Furnished preferred.

Turtle Bay | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Turtle Bay is best known for hosting the world’s dignitaries at United Nations once a year as the world institution sits on the eastern edge of the neighborhood along the East River.

But this midtown location offers a lot more, a bustling neighborhood teeming with high-rise apartment buildings and an easy walk to the Midtown business district.

Over the past two decades, developers have assembled almost every corner development site along Second Avenue and have built straight up. Not much left to assemble.

Some of the more glamorous, and of course most expensive, addresses are in close proximity to the United Nations. Trump World Tower, which caused a big stir with area residents, in particular, Walter Cronkite, when it was built sits just north of the United Nations Grounds.

In contrast to the proliferation of the residential highrise, Turtle Bay does have some lovely tree-lined streets between the avenues. In particular, Turtle Bay Gardens, which fronts both 48th Street and 49th Street between Third and Second Avenue has always been a haven for the rich and famous.
