Property Description for 351 East 50th Street, 1

Private Garden Oasis. Historic Charm Meets Modern Versatility. A Rare Find.

Welcome to this hidden gem in the heart of the greater Beekman/Sutton Place enclave-a rarely available townhouse apartment offering a seamless blend of warmth, character, and indoor-outdoor living.

This thoughtfully designed home offers two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a flexible layout that adapts beautifully to your lifestyle. Anchoring the space is a gracious central living and dining area, where exposed brick, and a decorative fireplace create a cozy atmosphere. Oversized glass doors open directly onto your private garden-an approximately 500-square-foot sanctuary surrounded by greenery, ideal for al fresco dining, entertaining, or simply escaping the city without leaving home.

The front bedroom features exposed brick, decorative fireplace, large closet, and en-suite bath. The rear bedroom is the definition of tranquility, with three oversized windows framing the garden, plus an additional en-suite bath.

The windowed kitchen is outfitted with wood cabinetry, a vented range, full-size refrigerator, stainless steel sink, and in-unit Washer/ Dryer Combo. Throughout the home, hardwood floors and through-wall air conditioning ensure comfort and style in equal measure.

Perfectly situated on a tree-lined street with deep roots in New York's Colonial-era history, this address offers the best of classic charm and modern connectivity. Turtle Bay | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Turtle Bay is best known for hosting the world’s dignitaries at United Nations once a year as the world institution sits on the eastern edge of the neighborhood along the East River.

But this midtown location offers a lot more, a bustling neighborhood teeming with high-rise apartment buildings and an easy walk to the Midtown business district.

Over the past two decades, developers have assembled almost every corner development site along Second Avenue and have built straight up. Not much left to assemble.

Some of the more glamorous, and of course most expensive, addresses are in close proximity to the United Nations. Trump World Tower, which caused a big stir with area residents, in particular, Walter Cronkite, when it was built sits just north of the United Nations Grounds.

In contrast to the proliferation of the residential highrise, Turtle Bay does have some lovely tree-lined streets between the avenues. In particular, Turtle Bay Gardens, which fronts both 48th Street and 49th Street between Third and Second Avenue has always been a haven for the rich and famous.
