Property Description for 321 East 43rd Street, PH-2

Bridgerton dreams and New York City scenes: Chrysler Building views from your private terrace!

Welcome to PH2 at The Cloister, a one-of-a-kind furnished one-bedroom, one-bathroom co-op in the heart of the Tudor City Historic District. From the moment you enter the building's Tudor-style lobby, complete with a 24-hour doorman and concierge, you feel transported to another time and place.

Inside, PH2 unfolds like a scene from Regency England. The sunlit living room opens seamlessly onto a landscaped wraparound terrace, while thoughtful design details throughout create a rich sense of character and charm. Ornate vintage furnishings, wall sconces, custom window treatments, a beautifully painted coffered ceiling, and a striking chandelier have all been carefully curated in this unique renovation. The spacious bedroom offers a peaceful retreat, and the kitchen features custom cabinetry and built-ins for excellent storage.

Visible from every room and truly the crown jewel of the home, the landscaped wraparound terrace offers a setting unlike anything else. Surrounded by lush greenery and designed with a wrought-iron gazebo, plush daybed, and outdoor sectional, it feels more like a private garden escape made all the more extraordinary by sweeping views of the iconic Chrysler Building.

PH2 is a rare opportunity to indulge in a distinctly romantic vision of New York living, where old-world elegance meets the magic of the city skyline.

The Cloister is an intimate co-op offering a full-time doorman, concierge, and live-in superintendent. Residents also enjoy access to a central laundry room and fitness center at 5 Tudor City. Conveniently located near Grand Central Station, the United Nations, and two charming local parks, it offers a unique blend of city access and neighborhood charm.

Turtle Bay | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Turtle Bay is best known for hosting the world’s dignitaries at United Nations once a year as the world institution sits on the eastern edge of the neighborhood along the East River.

But this midtown location offers a lot more, a bustling neighborhood teeming with high-rise apartment buildings and an easy walk to the Midtown business district.

Over the past two decades, developers have assembled almost every corner development site along Second Avenue and have built straight up. Not much left to assemble.

Some of the more glamorous, and of course most expensive, addresses are in close proximity to the United Nations. Trump World Tower, which caused a big stir with area residents, in particular, Walter Cronkite, when it was built sits just north of the United Nations Grounds.

In contrast to the proliferation of the residential highrise, Turtle Bay does have some lovely tree-lined streets between the avenues. In particular, Turtle Bay Gardens, which fronts both 48th Street and 49th Street between Third and Second Avenue has always been a haven for the rich and famous.
