Property Description for 845 Second Ave, 6-B

Tucked away in an intimate boutique condominium in the heart of Turtle Bay, this beautifully designed two-bedroom residence offers a rare combination of openness, light, and complete tranquility, an unexpected retreat in one of Manhattan's most increasingly chic and charming enclaves.

The layout is exceptionally efficient, with no wasted space and a natural flow that feels both expansive and intuitive. The living and dining area is bright and airy, enhanced by high ceilings and oversized windows that flood the home with natural light while maintaining a remarkably quiet, peaceful atmosphere, truly a hidden gem in the center of it all.

The kitchen is thoughtfully designed with generous cabinetry and counter space, seamlessly supporting both everyday living and entertaining. Clean lines and quality finishes create a space that is as functional as it is inviting.

The primary bedroom is well-proportioned and offers direct access to a private balcony, along with smart, integrated storage that maximizes every inch. The second bedroom introduces a truly unique and flexible design element-a beautifully executed Murphy bed system that transforms effortlessly from a comfortable sofa into a full sleeping area. This allows the space to function seamlessly as a guest room, home office, den, or extension of the living area.

What truly sets this home apart is its balance of light, flexibility, and calm, offering a sense of ease and livability that is increasingly hard to find.
845 Second Avenue is a well-maintained, boutique condominium with just two residences per floor, featuring elevator access, central laundry, video security, and a spectacular roof deck with open city views.

Ideally located moments from Grand Central Terminal, the United Nations, and multiple transportation options, the home is surrounded by Turtle Bay's growing collection of restaurants, cafés, and neighborhood favorites, offering both convenience and a distinctly charming, residential feel.
Equally suited as a primary residence, pied-à-terre, or investment opportunity, this is a home that adapts beautifully to the way you live.

Turtle Bay | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Turtle Bay is best known for hosting the world’s dignitaries at United Nations once a year as the world institution sits on the eastern edge of the neighborhood along the East River.

But this midtown location offers a lot more, a bustling neighborhood teeming with high-rise apartment buildings and an easy walk to the Midtown business district.

Over the past two decades, developers have assembled almost every corner development site along Second Avenue and have built straight up. Not much left to assemble.

Some of the more glamorous, and of course most expensive, addresses are in close proximity to the United Nations. Trump World Tower, which caused a big stir with area residents, in particular, Walter Cronkite, when it was built sits just north of the United Nations Grounds.

In contrast to the proliferation of the residential highrise, Turtle Bay does have some lovely tree-lined streets between the avenues. In particular, Turtle Bay Gardens, which fronts both 48th Street and 49th Street between Third and Second Avenue has always been a haven for the rich and famous.
