Property Description for 301 East 48th Street, 8-K

Gracious, Spacious & Bright

Large one-bedroom with beautiful morning light and open rooftop views, a rare combination of space, light, and quiet that’s increasingly hard to find.

Peaceful and pristine, this apartment offers a true sense of calm, an ideal retreat to come home to after a busy day.

A proper entry foyer welcomes you in, complete with a generous walk-in coat closet. Just off the entry, the kitchen sits to your left and is outfitted with a brand-new stainless steel stove, dishwasher, and microwave, along with excellent storage.

The expansive living and dining area is both functional and inviting, featuring a hidden closet, a full wall of custom built-in shelves and cabinetry, recessed lighting, and oversized windows that bring in beautiful natural light and soft city views throughout the day.

The bedroom is exceptionally large, with new wood plank floors, a huge walk-in closet, and a bright, airy exposure that enhances the sense of space. There is ample room for a king-sized bed, side tables, and even a comfortable seating area.

The beautifully renovated bathroom features a super-sized shower and excellent storage.

Five well-placed closets throughout complete the home: a deep entry closet, wide linen and utility closet, hidden living room closet, additional hallway closet, and a walk-in bedroom closet.

Please note there is an ongoing monthly assessment of $45, along with a temporary assessment of $348 per month for three new elevators, in place through June 2027.

Turtle Bay | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Turtle Bay is best known for hosting the world’s dignitaries at United Nations once a year as the world institution sits on the eastern edge of the neighborhood along the East River.

But this midtown location offers a lot more, a bustling neighborhood teeming with high-rise apartment buildings and an easy walk to the Midtown business district.

Over the past two decades, developers have assembled almost every corner development site along Second Avenue and have built straight up. Not much left to assemble.

Some of the more glamorous, and of course most expensive, addresses are in close proximity to the United Nations. Trump World Tower, which caused a big stir with area residents, in particular, Walter Cronkite, when it was built sits just north of the United Nations Grounds.

In contrast to the proliferation of the residential highrise, Turtle Bay does have some lovely tree-lined streets between the avenues. In particular, Turtle Bay Gardens, which fronts both 48th Street and 49th Street between Third and Second Avenue has always been a haven for the rich and famous.
