Duplex Penthouse 3 Bedrooms 2 Bathrooms 3 Private Terraces 2,638 SF Interior + 872 SF Outdoor

  • Duplex penthouse with soaring skylit great room and floor-to-ceiling glass walls opening to terraces;
  • Brazilian cherry hardwood floors throughout, with large-format terrazzo stone tile in baths;
  • La Cornue range - handcrafted in France, the pinnacle of culinary luxury;

  • Exotic quartzite countertops and full-height slab backsplash;
  • Three private terraces totaling approximately 872 SF, including a south-facing rooftop and another with a BBQ grill; and
  • Primary suite on its own private upper level- skylit home office/study with private terrace.

Penthouse F at 73 Worth Street is a singular duplex residence above one of Tribeca's most intimate boutique condominiums. Spanning approximately 2,638 square feet across two levels - with an additional 872 square feet of private outdoor space across three terraces - the apartment is defined by a quality of light and air that is simply rare in New York.

The great room is anchored by a dramatic skylight and floor-to-ceiling glass walls that dissolve the boundary between inside and out, opening directly onto the fully-planted south-facing terrace with lush planted borders, dramatic southern light, and water feature. The kitchen is built around a La Cornue range - the handcrafted French atelier cooker found in fewer than a handful of New York residences - alongside two Sub-Zero refrigerators, one 36-inch and one 30-inch, plus two full-size wine cellar units. Countertops and the full-height backsplash are executed in an exotic quartzite with sweeping blue-gray mineral veining. A Miele dishwasher and LG washer/dryer complete the service appointments.

Wide-plank Brazilian cherry hardwood floors run throughout both levels, rich with amber-to-reddish-brown tones and a lustrous finish. Bathrooms are finished in large-format terrazzo stone tile - a curated aggregate of whites, grays, and warm taupe in a Venetian-inspired pattern.

Two bedrooms and a full bath anchor the main level, each with custom closet storage and access to private outdoor space. The upper level is devoted to the primary suite - a serene, sky-facing retreat with open city views - and an extraordinary skylit home office/study enclosed in glass on three sides, with its own private terrace with lush plantings. A third terrace off the downstairs bedrooms provides an additional outdoor dining and grilling space complete with a BBQ grill.

Tribeca | Manhattan

Quick Profile

TriBeCa, named after the small geographic triangle below Canal Street. It’s not really a triangle, it's a quadrilateral and it's bounded by West Street, Broadway, and Chambers Street. It’s a little too late for a name change and besides, QuaBeCa doesn't sound half as cool as Tribeca.

One of New York City’s more notable acronymed neighborhoods, TriBeCa is known for its trendy boutiques, fabolous restaurants, historical landmarks, and resident celebrity lofts. It still holds the title of one of the coolest places to live in New York City.

TriBeCa is one of the first residential neighborhoods of New York City. Way back in 1700’s wealthy New Yorkers built homes and maintained gardens in what is now TriBeca.

Later in history it shifted from residential to warehouses, commerce and markets. After the Civil War, shipping hubs moved from the East River to the Hudson River and revitalized areas like the South Street Seaport and TriBeca. When shipping and commerce increased, the area soon became a favorite spot for wholesalers to store their goods in large industrial warehouses.

Just like its neighbor SoHo, TriBeCa boasts one of the world’s largest collections of wrought-iron facades and Neo-Grecian architecture.
