Property Description for 303 East 43rd Street, 27-A

Perched on the 27th floor of the prestigious International Plaza Condominium, this fully renovated two-bedroom, two-bathroom residence offers spectacular panoramic views of the East River, the United Nations, the Chrysler Building, and the Midtown skyline from every room. The apartment has been thoughtfully gut-renovated throughout. Wide-plank white oak floors flow across the entire home, and the once-separate kitchen has been opened to create a seamless, light-filled living and entertaining space. The chef's kitchen features custom cabinetry, quartz countertops with a marble-veined backsplash, and a premium stainless steel gas range — all visible from the expansive living and dining area, which is bathed in southern light and framed by oversized windows with city views that stop you in your tracks. The primary bedroom is generously sized, south-facing, and lined with custom built-in wardrobe closets. Its en-suite bathroom is a true showstopper: a deep blue Moroccan tile accent wall, double marble vanity with wall-mounted brass fixtures, dual gold-framed mirrors, and a graphic black-and-white patterned floor. The second bedroom is equally spacious, facing east and north and capturing open sky and city views, and is served by a beautifully renovated second bathroom with floor-to-ceiling white hexagonal tile, a soaking tub, and warm brass fixtures throughout. International Plaza is a full-service, white-glove doorman condominium with only three residences per floor, set at the edge of the historic Tudor City neighborhood — one block from the United Nations, Tudor City Park, and Grand Central Station, with immediate access to all major transportation and a Citibike port at the front door. Building amenities include 24-hour concierge service, a greenhouse-style garden lobby, laundry, and private storage. ----- Please be aware that this is a condo building with a board review process that takes 3-4 weeks. This is not the same as a co-op, where you have a risk of being denied. Due to the review process it is crucial that you have flexibility on your move in date as your actual move in date may end up being later than the date on the lease. Renting in a condo brings additional one-time fees paid directly to the condo board / building management at submission of the package. The fees for this building are listed below: - Processing Fee (non-refundable): $750 - Consumer Report Fee (non-refundable): $120 - Move In Deposit (refundable): $1,000 - Digital Document Retention Fee (non-refundable): $150

Turtle Bay | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Turtle Bay is best known for hosting the world’s dignitaries at United Nations once a year as the world institution sits on the eastern edge of the neighborhood along the East River.

But this midtown location offers a lot more, a bustling neighborhood teeming with high-rise apartment buildings and an easy walk to the Midtown business district.

Over the past two decades, developers have assembled almost every corner development site along Second Avenue and have built straight up. Not much left to assemble.

Some of the more glamorous, and of course most expensive, addresses are in close proximity to the United Nations. Trump World Tower, which caused a big stir with area residents, in particular, Walter Cronkite, when it was built sits just north of the United Nations Grounds.

In contrast to the proliferation of the residential highrise, Turtle Bay does have some lovely tree-lined streets between the avenues. In particular, Turtle Bay Gardens, which fronts both 48th Street and 49th Street between Third and Second Avenue has always been a haven for the rich and famous.
