Property Description for 450 Washington Street, 520

Set along Tribeca’s coveted Hudson River waterfront, Residence 520 at 450 Washington is a beautifully appointed three-bedroom home offering generous proportions, refined finishes, and a serene outlook over the building’s landscaped courtyard and surrounding historic streetscape. The thoughtfully composed floor plan is anchored by an expansive double-corner living and dining room, where oversized bronze-finished windows bring in abundant natural light and frame treetop views with glimpses toward the Hudson River. An open eat-in kitchen extends the entertaining space, pairing warm natural quartzite countertops with matte white lacquer cabinetry, architectural cove lighting, and a suite of Miele appliances. Dornbracht fixtures complete the clean, contemporary design. Throughout the residence, seven-inch-wide plank white oak floors lend warmth and continuity, while substantial windows with Caesarstone ledges reinforce the home’s understated architectural character. The bathrooms continue the material palette with European white oak cabinetry, Calacatta Lincoln marble countertops, undermount sinks, and Dornbracht fixtures. Occupying a full city block moments from Hudson River Park, 450 Washington pairs contemporary living with one of Tribeca’s most atmospheric settings. A gated entrance leads to an extraordinary 8,000-square-foot landscaped courtyard by Hollander Design, creating a private green oasis at the heart of the building. Residents enjoy an extensive collection of amenities, including a rooftop terrace with sweeping Hudson River and sunset views, a fitness center, golf simulator, fireside lounge, private dining room, business center, and children’s playroom. Additional storage and parking are available separately. With the waterfront just outside and Tribeca’s cobblestone streets, restaurants, galleries, and neighborhood destinations moments away, Residence 520 offers a compelling combination of space, design, and downtown living.

Tribeca | Manhattan

Quick Profile

TriBeCa, named after the small geographic triangle below Canal Street. It’s not really a triangle, it's a quadrilateral and it's bounded by West Street, Broadway, and Chambers Street. It’s a little too late for a name change and besides, QuaBeCa doesn't sound half as cool as Tribeca.

One of New York City’s more notable acronymed neighborhoods, TriBeCa is known for its trendy boutiques, fabolous restaurants, historical landmarks, and resident celebrity lofts. It still holds the title of one of the coolest places to live in New York City.

TriBeCa is one of the first residential neighborhoods of New York City. Way back in 1700’s wealthy New Yorkers built homes and maintained gardens in what is now TriBeca.

Later in history it shifted from residential to warehouses, commerce and markets. After the Civil War, shipping hubs moved from the East River to the Hudson River and revitalized areas like the South Street Seaport and TriBeca. When shipping and commerce increased, the area soon became a favorite spot for wholesalers to store their goods in large industrial warehouses.

Just like its neighbor SoHo, TriBeCa boasts one of the world’s largest collections of wrought-iron facades and Neo-Grecian architecture.
