Property Description for 860 United Nations Plaza, 13-E

Stunning Corner Three-Bedroom Residence with Panoramic Views, Exceptional Storage & Designer Renovation

FULLY RENOVATED MOVE-IN READY GREAT FLOW

Welcome home to Residence 13E at 860 UN Plaza - a turnkey, sun-flooded, three-bedroom, three-bathroom home in one of Manhattan's most prestigious full-service cooperatives. Featuring a coveted split-bedroom layout and sweeping panoramic city views through more than 90 feet of floor-to-ceiling windows.

This stunning residence underwent a meticulous and complete renovation in 2023 in collaboration with an award-winning interior design firm. With an emphasis on design, storage and livability, the result is a sophisticated modern residence that preserves its classic charm.

A gracious foyer opens to an expansive living and dining room, creating an impressive entertaining space anchored by open views and a travertine ventless fireplace. Wide-plank white oak flooring runs throughout the residence.

The windowed eat-in kitchen features top-of-the-line appliances (including a wine/beverage refrigerator) and luxurious Calacatta Gold marble countertops and backsplash. This gorgeous space is also highly functional and can accommodate a chef's collection of cooking tools and utensils in the ample cabinetry.

Each of the three oversized bedrooms can easily accommodate a king-sized bed and features design-forward light fixtures, generous closet space, and custom automatic window treatments. Three full bathrooms feature elegant Kohler fixtures, including a smart toilet with integrated bidet in the en-suite primary bathroom.

A large private storage unit in the building is included at no additional cost. Complimentary bicycle storage is also available in the building's dedicated bike room.

Residents of 860 and 870 United Nations Plaza enjoy an extensive shared amenity collection, including a newly renovated fitness center with a dedicated Pilates room and reformer, two expansive roof decks with 360-degree city views, a library/conference room, and Club 39, a residents' lounge featuring billiards, ping-pong, lounge seating, and a catering kitchen that may be reserved for private events. Additional amenities include a golf simulator, in-house dry-cleaning service, bicycle storage room, seven-day package room with cold storage, and complimentary visitor parking. More than 40 full-time staff members anticipate residents' every need in this truly white-glove building. The building is pet-friendly.

860 United Nations Plaza is one of the most financially strong buildings in New York City; owners have enjoyed minimal maintenance increases and have never been subject to an assessment despite major capital improvements over the past several decades. Monthly maintenance cost of $3,768.63 includes real estate taxes. Separate monthly charge of $704 covers all utilities including electricity, gas, water, and sewer charges for the residence, and $59 covers exterior window washing. Total monthly carrying cost between maintenance, utilities and window washing totals $4,531.63 per month.

860 UN Plaza is ideally situated in Midtown East on a quiet, residential street located just a few blocks from some of the best restaurants and attractions in Manhattan. A children's playground is directly adjacent to the building and a dog park is conveniently located just across 49th Street.

75% financing permitted. 3% flip tax paid by buyer.

Residence 13E presents a rare combination of space, privacy, sophistication, and value at 860 United Nations Plaza. A must-see!

Beekman Place | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Beekman Place is less of a neighborhood than it is a quiet two-block enclave just north of the United Nations on the far eastern edge of Turtle Bay. There is only one street that runs through the neighborhood, also called Beekman Place, that wraps itself around 49th Street and 51st Street.

This bucolic little stretch of the east side has always been a cherished spot for those fortunate enough to have found refuge here. The noise and the street traffic from the city surrounds is virtually non-existent as there are no through streets in this neighborhood.

The neighborhood composition largely consists of a few clusters of townhouses and prewar co-ops. The exception to the rule is the charming art-deco-styled Beekman Place Hotel at the corner of First Avenue and 49th Street and the two post-war towers, 860 and 870 UN Plaza that front the grounds of the United Nations.
